Based on the results of observations at Middle Amanuban 1 Public Middle School, the teacher did not apply an effective and innovative learning model. This affected the learning outcomes of Science Biology class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Tengah, especially in the subject of the human respiratory system where only 20% of students scored above the KKM. The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in the learning outcomes of students who were taught using the picture and picture learning model and students who were taught using conventional models. The research design is quantitative using a Post-Test Only Control Group Desain. The research population was class VIII students with a sample consisting of two classes determined by random sampling method. The data is in the form of learning outcomes that are measured using post test questions. The value of cognitive learning outcomes seen from the average post- test score of the experimental class is better than that of the control class, namely 75,96 > 51,57 which means there are differences in learning outcomes between the two classes. The results of the study can be concluded that the picture and picture learning model influences the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Amanuban Tengah on the subject of the human respiratory system.
